The fact that he chose not to has, I believe, discredited his book as a work of fairy tale-like fiction.
Again, no questioning on how Catherine could presume that. Catherine is never a famous person. Weiss transcribes them rapidly and records each one, amazed to hear the rich geographical and cultural detail of each of her lives.
